Sing, Sing a Song

This night I think in you
Knowing that I love you
And not wanting to know more.

Cast away the night
Cast away the day
Cast the world and let all from all slip away

— Except for love! Give that some room
In the bed of this waking womb
Where we might hatch a new vision.

Slip from the shadow
Slip from the shade
Slip from the noose of compulsion

— And away! Float awhile
Like a starry crocodile
In the mirror-waters of some silent lake.

Sink from the care
Sink from the woe
Sink from all and to All go

— With new sincerity!
