A golden moon half-fulfilled
Hangs upon a freckled sky
And in my heart a quiet builds
And a sweet sad wind sails by.
The shivering black lake
Like the pupil of an eye
Stares at me while we both quake
And a sweet soft wind sails by.
Once, I loved her deeply
That is indeed no lie
And it did not change, merely
A sweet subtle wind sailed by;
I bid adieu not because we must die
Only that a sweet secret wind sails by.
