Upon Walking

What contentment did I find
In any woman’s eyes?
In you who are kind, kind
Is where my true heart lies.
Behind every footfall
That your feet do trod
Is a wisdom that calls
Upon the path to Holy GOD.
I must know you
Because I did know you;
I must love you
Because I did love you;
Every blessèd drop of rain
Seems to kiss you again, again.
