Unnatural

My eyes cast off their false cloak of colour
As I watch in silence my dying mother
My twisted heart grieved by her emotions
And the tears she cried grew like oceans
The dimming light of this world grows smaller
As the towers of tyranny grow taller
I drown in a pool of tears, and frightful depression
Whenever a wilting flower looks to me and beckons.
