Trobador represents the poetical canon of Rafael Alejandro Jara. Born in Santiago de Chile (1986) to Chilean and French-American parents and raised in Florida and Switzerland, he studied English Literature and Religious Studies at the University of Miami. He embraced Islam in 2002, and in 2007 entered the Shadhili Sufi Order under Sh. Nuh Ha Mim Keller. He lives in Santiago teaching English. He can be reached at rafael.alejandro.jara at gmail.com.
